I HAVE EXISTING PENSIONS I WOULD LIKE REVIEWED

During the average working lifetime people take out  many different types of pension plans due to changes to their employment and it would be beneficial to review the types of pensions held to ensure that:

  1. You are  saving enough towards retirement.
  2. You are getting enough value for money and are not  in one of the older style pensions which may not be as flexible and may have higher charges.
  3. Your contracts offer a choice of well performing funds suitable for your investment needs and that will reach a target level of income you need at retirement.
  4. Major changes to pensions have taken place since this date with the introduction of new style Stakeholder Pensions with lower charges and more flexibility.
  5. On 6 April 2006, A DAY,  further changes took place which introduced even more choices with pension plans.

If you want us to look at your pensions

  1. We'll ask you to complete a fact find, it will give us your view of pensions and enable us to calculate how much or how little risk you're willing to take with your money. It will also enable us to ascertain your future aims and objectives and this can be done either through an appointment with one of our Financial Advisers or by downloading this via the website. If you have any questions about this process, please contact us.
  2. Your providers will need your written authority. We've made it really simple - our form will only take you a few minutes to complete. We'll analyse your  pensions, past and present,.

When we have all the information

A pension specialist will go through it with you. We want to ensure you understand everything about your pensions, with specific answers to these questions:

  1. Can your pensions take advantage of all the new rules?
  2. How has your money been growing?
  3. Is your money exposed to too much risk?

If you want to make changes to your pension
We'll design you a portfolio with a spread of managers and funds, matched to the level of risk you're prepared to accept.

We'll test the portfolio against the market to see how your money would have performed compared to the market average. Our aim is to help you achieve 'above average' growth: to maximise the return you'll achieve within the level of risk you're prepared to take.

If you want to proceed with our suggestion

We will make it very easy for you by pre-populating all the forms. And we'll chase your providers until the money comes through.

Once your money is invested

We want you to be confident about your pension fund .

We'll send you an initial document showing how the money was invested. And every six months, we will review your portfolio and publish the results on our website,  suggesting changes you might consider to the make-up of your portfolio.

Once a year, we'll check your view of risk hasn't changed. Then we'll rebalance the funds in your portfolio, so you have the best opportunity for growth on your pension fund,  without taking undue risk.

We can send  you regular quarterly newsletters to keep you informed of current financial issues that may be of interest, if you sign up for this service ( free of charge).

At any time, you can contact us to discuss general or specific financial matters with a specialist.

And finally, when you come to retire, we'll help you make the right choice for you and your family.

We get paid like this
We normally receive commission from managers we place your money with. But if you prefer, you can pay us a fee.
